Asking Questions

The public radio program "Native America Calling"will be producing a Presidential candidates forum live on the air, Monday, February 4th , the day before "Super Tuesday." The program airs from 1-2 pm Eastern time.
"Native America Calling" can be heard on the internet at http://www.nativeamericacalling.com/ and http://www.nv1.org/. Listeners may call toll-free at 1-800-996-2848 during the show.
Thirty Native public radio stations across the country broadcast the weekday program. Because this will be a non-partisan forum, all candidates on the ballots have been invited to participate. Keith Harper, Chairperson for the Obama Native American Advisory Committee and Holly Cook Macarro, Native American Policy Advisor to the Clinton campaign are confirmed from the Democratic side. No Republican candidates are currently confirmed. Candidates will be answering questions relevant to Native people. Host Harlan McKosato will field the questions prepared by the NAC editorialstaff, as well as from internet listeners. Individuals may email theirquestions to: comments@nativeamericacalling.com by Sunday night, Feb. 3rd . Because the program is less than one hour, both Democratic andRepublican candidates will have limited time to go in-depth with their responses. Listeners across the country will be able to hear specific questions addressing Native concerns provided by the *only* national radio newsorganization that covers issues of importance to Native listeners.
