Today I pick up the phone and Stephen Gunzenhauser is on the other end.
I'm been a fan of his for quite a while, and only a few weeks ago did I find out he worked in the area.
Now as part of my gig I get to interview him and catch concerts.
I think the show I'm supposed to produce will use the Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra as a theme. Everyone seems to like themes around here. So Britten will be the glue that holds it together.
*The title comes from the fact I saw the Philadelphia Orchestra Tuesday night play Dvorak's Ninth (from the new world)...an I'm still thinking about the wonderful things...and interesting events.
