It's been almost a month now and I love Harrisburg. I love my job. The staff is a real joy to work with. My house rocks!
Last night I caught the Philadelphia Orchestra with James and Jeanne Galway, conducted by Joann Falletta.
It was lovely. Joann remembered me from years ago, from an interview we did on KMUW in Wichita.
Now for the small world part...Joann's associate concertmaster in Buffalo, is Amy Glidden, who studied with Nancy Luttrell at Wichita State...and we played in youth symphony together. (I was in the back of the section, she the concertmaster!)
More tales soon, I'm in NYC this weekend to see a friend.
