I celebrated the
20th Anniversary of
Naxos Records, in the morning I interviewed
Klaus Heymann, the founder (pictured right); and in the evening joined 150 or so musicians and friends at Steinway Hall.
Marin Alsop,
William Bolcom and Klaus spoke;
Phillipe Quint (pictured left) played some Rozsa, Ravel and Gershwin.

It was wonderful to see composers
Ellen Zwilich,
John Corigliano,
Avner Dorman,
Mark Adamo; conductors
Jose Serebrier,
JoAnn Falletta; and performers
Mark O'Connor,
Joan Morris,
Carole Farley and
Michael Ludwig. Industry people included
Mark Berry,
Frank Oteri,
Trudi Chan,
Sarah Baird, and
Genevieve Spielberg.

Wish I was there! Congrats to Klaus and Naxos for 20 years! We have some interesting projects of Zwilich, Vivaldi and Leroy Anderson coming out soon, and it looks like it was a marvelous party at Steinway Hall! Greetings from Knoxville, Jeffrey Biegel
